![]() Solar radiation sensor CMP3 placed on top of roof |
The global solar radiation measurement is performed using a pyranometer CMP3 manufactured by KIPP & ZONEN. This is a second class device according to WMO and ISO 9060. A calibrated preamplifier made by ThiesClima conditions the output voltage of the 64 thermocouples. An embedded system NetDCU8 of F&S Elektronik Systeme running Linux performs sampling and scaling of solar radiation. Starting with the morning twilight until end of evening twilight every 5 minutes solar radiation data is uploaded to this internet server. |
